The Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione is an instant classic. This car will be hot thirty years from now. It was first introduced at the 2003 Frankfurt Motor Show and shares a rich history with the 1948 6C 2500 Competizione which raced in the Mille Miglia. It is just an elegant car. Lets get straight down to it; 4.7L V8 engine, top speed of 292km/h and 0-100km/h (0-62mph) in 4.2 seconds. Only available in limited production.

One word.Damn! The Tramontana is simply extraordinary. I get the impression that every square inch of this car was designated to a separate team of engineers and designers. The details are almost overwhelming. You can't look this good without having some serious muscle to back things up. The Tramontana has a twin turbo V12 Biturbo engine providing 720HP with a 6 speed sequential gear box and 100% carbon fiber chassis. What you get with all that is a stylish futuristic bad boy of a car/F16 that can go 350km/h and 0-100km/h in a whopping 3.7sec. Brilliant. The downside is that only a handful are built a year.

I've been meaning to post on the Bentley Continental GT and GT Speed for some time now so here goes. What I like most about the Continental GT is the design. Dirk van Braeckel, the designer, stayed true to Bentley's sensibilities at the same time meshing in power and sport so elegantly. Under the hood, the engine-a 6.0L W12, sports twin turbochargers producing 552HP with a top speed of 314km/h (195mph). Right beside the GT is the GT Speed which is the fastest production car made by Bentley. It boasts of 600HP and 202 mph (325 km/h). Some say, like all Bentleys, that it's not an everyday car. My response is that a car like this is for anyone who lives everyday like his last and seeks more than purpose from his car.

I'm not a big fan of the name but this Ferrari negates any negative impression from its name. This is Ferrari's first retractable hardtop convertible. It sports a 4.3L V8 with direct injection which delivers 460HP with a 7 speed dual clutch transmission, F1-Traction Control System and a heart throbbing 0 to 60 under 4 seconds.

When the rumors started flying about Tata Motors taking over the struggling Rover and Jaguar brands I was a little skeptical but the all new XF series is sure to provide an added boost to Jaguar and Tata. With its sleek, detail and subtle design, the XF is a sporty luxury sedan. I think it is the birth of a great model. The supercharged XF comes with 420HP V8 engine,Dynamic Stability Control, 6-speed electronic automatic transmission with Jaguar Sequential Shift and steering wheel mounted paddles and a host of other great features.

Ariel (based in Britain) has been building cars for over 100 years and with their elite but small team they introduced the Atom car which was received with high praises. They announced the introduction of the Atom 500 V8 in March and it's due later this year. The Atom 500 V8, like its predecessors, belong on a Formula One track and suited for a select few. With its 2.4L V8, five valve cylinder, supercharger and light frame (less than a ton), the Atom achieves 500bhp at over 10,000rpm. This care packs a serious punch.

Maserati's GranTurismo S is spectacular. Maserati really knocked things up a notch-Bam! It now has a 440hp 4.7L engine similar to the Alfa 8C. Based on the engine you would expect it to go 0 to 60mph in about 5 seconds. The interior is upholstered in Poltrona Frau leather and Alcantara. Also includes newly-designed and figure-hugging front and rear seats with horizontal piping on the seats.

In all honesty, I preferred the original concept design for the GT-R but the production model still looks great. The GT-R will go head-to-head against the Porsche 911 with a much cheaper price tag. The GT-R is powered by a twin-turbo supercharged 3.8L V6 engine that produces 480hp. The transmission is a 6-speed Dual Clutch with automatic shifting or sequential manual control via gearshift or paddle shifters. It is also equipped with Brembo brakes, Bilstein Damptronic Suspension and Bridgestone's nitrogen filled flat tires.

Lamborghini Reventón is a mid-engined sports car which first debuted at the 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show. The car's design is inspired by the F-22 Raptor (modern fighter plane used by the USAF) and based on the Murciélago LP640. The exterior is made of composite carbon fiber material and the interior was designed and created sing Alcantara, carbon, aluminum and leather. The interior gives you the experience of being in an F-22 Raptor styled cockpit equipped with TFT liquid displays.
